Yeah it keeps going up despite some of the experts predicting this rise can't last...particularly during the summer, but we shall see

There are a lot of mixed signals out there so tea leaves are hard to read. Unemployment is almost at a record low and job creation has been great.
However existing home sales have slowed a lot the last couple of months and that could have a ripple effect.
One thing that is encouraging is that the economy has been doing so good that tax revenue to the Federal Government has exceeded all estimates and this means the deficit has been shrinking far faster than predicted.

There are a lot of mixed signals out there. Many analysts don't know what to think of it. The one thing that have many of them worried is that the debt makerts are drying up.

Down down down....I was telling a brother to shift monies out of his mutual into something else. He is trusting the fund managers.
The stock part of my portfolio was at near 12% growth for the year and is now at under 5% growth for the year...that's how bad the market has been. I moved everything into something that had a guranteed growth rate for the time being, though I have some in another area of realestate which continues to grow, mostly because it's not in construction companies and housing starts etc etc..

Reading analyst comments is like getting advice from public bathroom wall writings.... they get paid nominal amounts to do their "analyzing", so you're getting crackerjak box advice when you pay attention to them....

Actually, that is how bad the fund manager has done with your cash...seriously, the markets are doing fine.
