Through sin. But because man gave dominion to the devil and this became his world. He's "the prince of the power of the air". Inturn ir became a fallen world, but not because a sin nature. Jesus totally debunks that theory.

That's because the man had the dominion over the world, so when he listened to satan over God, he then became a servant to the devil. Giving the devil the right to everything he had dominion over. Eve had no dominion her sin didn't change any of that, but Adams did.
