my experience is the church is focused on outreach, not on helping each other.
I don't think the church should turn its back on its members in their clear time(s) of need.

I guess thats one of the problems I have with normal Church. This man is not accused of sin. At this point he has not lost his place.

AND YET, it has been determined the FELLOWSHIP.....CHURCH FAMILY....will do NOTHING to help him.

And they call that LOVE???

He needs a good kick in his behind if he's healthy and just lazy.
That would help him a great deal.

I can understand that, but in house churches it's a little different paradigm.Same with a lot of home missions I have known. Small everyone is together. Elders don't have an office, and we all eat together after service.

For lack of a better term, the common perception is that he is being lazy and that he won't work the jobs available to him that would keep him afloat because they don't pay enough. He won't go to school either. He is saved-- a good guy, great personality and I hate to see things go badly for the guy.

I honestly have never felt church was like a family, it's sad.

I love my dad, love my mother. Thank God they kick my rear end from the bottom to the top of my head. They didn't go to school, because school had recess and they didn't play.
