Glad to see this thread got back on subject. I also use bacon grease to make birdseed suet cakes. It helps hold it all together. Hey nothing goes to waste!

I'd rather pepper my own bacon. We buy Daily bacon here, and it is amazing. It is the best bacon I've ever eaten.

You know my dear friend, I posted about my Christmas whole Pork Belly while you were involved in a fight and evidently you missed it.


one cannot do that too often, but cooking an entire pork belly every once in a while is just bully!
