Vicki did great as usual!
I didn't realize it was a Mother's Day program - - bet that was a little tough for her since she just lost her mom three weeks ago.
Great job Vicki!!

Many of the things they were talking about spoke to my own situation. Losing a child, etc. It's good to discuss these things and share how the Lord helped you through such difficult situations.
Sis. Murphy, these ladies have been through the fire and have wonderful testimonies to share. They weren't talking "fluff." I must admit that I have a hard time stomaching Jan's pinkness and cirque-de-so-fake make-up. But this was one TBN broadcast that really touched my heart.
I hate the decor, too, CC1. What are they thinking? All that overdone fake opulence is grotesque. But the set was very simple for the Mother's day show. Just a big semi-circular sectional couch thing. All the girls sitting around talking about their moms and about their own experiences as mothers.

I really enjoyed Kathy Hayes speaking - you could feel her heart.
Some can't hear because they can't get past what they are seeing.

When they started, I mentioned to Thad that it had to be hard. However, and as Vicki said later...and with Thad and I afterwards....the show was very healing for her. She touched so many...and so many had very kind words for her. Vicki was on that program for a reason....if anything, to comfort those that have just lost their mother.
