Sure, there are some wild ones about, who for whatever reason are in blatant rebellion, but most people, even non-Apostolics, would say it's absurd to even consider. "Love evil? Are you nuts? Of course I don't love evil!"

Further, many non-Apostolics obviously claim to love God, and seem to believe with all their hearts that they are following the Bible's instruction. They won't say they are perfect in that regard (is anyone?), but they are trusting in God's grace, have accepted Christ's atonement, etc.

I think a lot of folks will be surprised at who "made it" to Heaven!
I thought that I answered the question. The lost go to hell.

All who are lost are evil. Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. All who love the light will go to the light and will walk in it.

Sorry that I did not make that plain.

I used to live in great fear and I walked on egg shells. I used to be tormented with the thoughts of going to hell if I made the smallest mistake, if I glanced at the television while walking down the hallway, etc.

It took a few yrs to heal my mind from that kind of conditioning. I don't blame the pastor for any of it. But, I know that I'm not the only person from the assembly that had this issue. I think it is prevalent in youth and adults alike.

People live with so much condemnation and fear. These same people try to earn Gods' approval by their works or by submitting to an endless list of demands by the man o' Gawwd!

These past 3 yrs have been a great learning experience. I have said in other posts that if I could do it all over again, that I would have never left! Now that I think of it, I'm glad that I left. I'm sorry for the losses along the way... but If I had not left I would still be living in fear and anguish. I have a greater understanding of grace and a greater appreciation for those that hold to what this Ultra Con used to refer to as a "lower standard."

Just because they would not confess "I do love evil" does not make it so.

Most people consider themselves to be good persons, yet when they are taken though the law they soon realize that ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and that there is none that is righteous. Only God is GOOD Jesus said

Yes, it was plain. I didn't mean it wasn't. Just pointing out that, though the survey's purpose wasn't to define who is lost, I wanted to take the discussion to that area anyway.

I see. So the closest answer for you would perhaps be "The lake of fire. Eternal torment. Burning forever!!!", but not necessarily torture forever? How would spending eternity in a lake of fire not be torture or torment?

According to Luke 16:23, the rich man went to hell. There it is said by Jesus that he was in TORMENTS. Torments are the multiple of torment...perhaps many and varied torments.

Don't believe I wanna go there.

For everyone that no longer fears hell, have you forgotten the words of Jesus:

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
