The word Lucifer is only found one time in the whole Bible. If you'll read the whole chapter, you'll find that Isaiah is talking to King Nebercanezer and just like Jesus tells Peter to get thee behind me satan, Isaiah is simply telling King Nebercanezer that he is going to be thrown out of his high place.

I believe in spirits, but the only devils I've ever come across were people. Never had any trouble with a little Red Guy with a Pointed Tail.

I've cast out enough actual demons in Jesus' name for me to know there are devils and demons in the world, aside from people. Revelationist, are you saying there are no demon spirits to cast out any more since they do not exist in the world as in the following?:

Act 16:16-18 KJV And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: (17) The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. (18) And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Do you believe satan exists and is in the world today and is an actual spirit? No one said anything about a red suited dude with a pitch fork.

Revelationist, I have to admit, I have never heard the view that the old covenant Jews are/were the devil. So are you saying that when satan presented himself to God about testing Job, it was actually the old covenant jews that did this?
