Wow.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

No, I wasn't, & what is more, I never had a chance to meet this wonderful couple, but have heard him preach & have felt the effects of this wonderful couple of God.

Ron - they were an amazing couple! He could paint a "word picture" like few people can. And their relationship was a wonder to see.

On streets of gold - it's worth it all!!
This isn't the first time I have heard of this.
When my wife was working at Hospice, an elderly gentleman visited his wife who was admitted a few weeks prior. When the staff checked on them some time later, they found them both outside sitting on a bench outside her room, holding hands, and both dead. She died of whatever was killing her in the first place and he died of a heart attack -which did not seem to be that traumatic based on his expression. (And no, there were no 'drugs' in their systems which would have 'helped'.)

This was just one of many stories there. There are quite a few tales of miraculous happenings at the time of peoples deaths, as well as VERY few (although a couple) of stories of demons dragging residents to the lower depths of a fiery hell. Most passing's are extremely peaceful.
