Yeah, while attempting to shed the whole "arrogant American" suit, he has done something I find dismaying.

But then, how long have we been "bowing" to the middle east's money and oil?

I think our POTUS will take our the USA in a direction that will be a VERY CLEAR DEPARTURE from that status quo.

American troops (as far as I know) have NEVER been attached to foreign units in a way that would make us submit to a foreign government's military chain of command.

I would have a very difficult time with that kind of an assignment-- readilly admitting that it is purely mental.
