Sis Barb, we can tell from your posts that you are a caregiver. You evidently take care of your mom almost fulltime. And we read about all those wonderful big meals you cook when those brothers and their families come home! lol My mom and dad are elderly and live in their own home, but many times when they are sick, I have to go to the grocery store, take them to the doctor, etc. I dread the day when I and my siblings have to do it all the time.

Everyone needs some rest and relaxation. Hope you take time for it soon. You are valuable, not only to your family, but also to your 'forum' family.

Your apology is lovingly accepted, and I ask you to please forgive me.

Above all else, PO...above family and friendships...above whatever abilities I may possess or things I may acquire in this life, I want to please Him.

I want my conversations...even online conversations to be pleasing to Him.

My opinion, though important to me, is not worth cross words or attitude...and in the grand scheme of eternity, is just not worth it.

I plan to take a little break to regroup, and when I return...be it a day or two or three, if I lose my way again, please remind about the main thing...
Thank you, Barb for this beautiful post. I love you!

A LOVING PEACE FROM YOU

Author: James Patrick Tobin

From the glowing embers of your spirit
Came a little warmth of your love
Together we set it in a cozy little spot
Safe from the world up above

Then a soothing breath from your lungs
Helped to ignite the flame
On that lonely candle
In the core of my soul

As time passed day by day
Conflicts caused great winds to blow
But you cupped your hands around it
And it just flickered with a brilliant glow

They say that nothing is forever
But I don't believe that's true
That little candle in my heart
Is a loving peace from you

I love you, Newman...

I know you will be just fine because it comes down to what you focus on. And you know whom to set your eyes upon.

It is incredibly hard being a caretaker and loving someone who is hurting. But I know this for a fact. God certainly loved your mother when he gave her you.

Live a life of NO REGRETS. No regrets that you weren't faithful to what God put in your hand to do. You are awesome and loved by many.
