However, if the posters in question take offense to the post (which I doubt they do, they can give as good as they get, lol) they are welcome to address that with Admin, and we'll discuss.
There's a lot of history here with the players noted.........

That is not the part I am talking about Michael. I didn't mean he was calling the 2 in question stupid. But the other forum members that read and I guess agree with or believe they are smart, are the simpletons. Hey I was almost too stupid to understand that part. And I figure he will get a pass anyway. Him being so intellectually superior to the simple posters. Anyway it's nothing personal but also not surprising to me.

But then, his usual mode of operation with someone who he doesn't care for is illustrated on this thread: just hurl one infantile insult after another.
George, you hit it on the head. Ford and Benincasa have a lot in common.
Both fancy themselves having rapier-like wit - which fools a lot of simpletons when in reality their posting styles when they think they are combating some heathen are really nothing but lame, warmed over palaver.
If you could buy them both for what they're worth and sell them for what they think they're worth, you'd make Bill Gates look like the Little Match Girl.

Oh wow. Thanks. Now I can go take on the day since the great TimLan has given his mighty opinion. Look for it. Here come his lemmings...
Seriously TIm. Your feelings about me probably match mine about you. Reckon that should work just fine since in the long run neither of is going to be chaged by the other ones opinion.
Interesting though that no one seem to mind that Mark started all of this with his lack of comprehension. Oh well, ya'll keep on defending each other. It's kind of like Bill Clinton's indescretions during his presidnecy. As long as he did what he did no one felt bad about what they did.

Since most of us here don't have access to JP we can only assume Mark was trying to clear someone that was being wrongly accused on JP of something he was not doing???

Do we all get a bit passionate at times about our beliefs? I would certainly hope so!
But, I will be completely honest with you, I'm reaching back into my memory bank, and I can't remember ONE instance where RR has "Hurled insults" at anyone on this forum.
I've always known him to be respectful, even when he's disagreeing with someone.
Not sure what you alliance with Mark is in real life, but it's apparent you've chosen your sides here. That's fine, just don't make accusations against another member on the forum that you can't back up.

Michael,
Thank you. I sincerely appreciate this post. What some people seem to miss is that Mark and I have these conversations from time to time more for fun than anything else. We attended BC together and have known each other for a long time. I think if folks would have read the entire thread they would have eventually understood that there was an underlying humor factor in this for us. Oh well...

Oh, ok, I gotcha.
I certainly don't think Tim was referring to the entire forum, but I'll let him address that.

No. What Mark was insisting is that I was lying when I told him I did not have him in mind. His paranoia about such issues clouds his posting at times. And that is a fact. Further, is it alright for someone to vioalte rules in order to be a part of something? Just wondering.

Ethics, is that still preached or practiced anymore?
BTW, I am not speaking about rrford or Mark.
