I have never had an addiction counselor, Carpenter. Do the research yourself. Nicotine does not stay in the bloodstream for more than 72 hours. Do you have to contradict everything everyone else says?

Well, I HAVE had an addiction counselor back in the day. I was a 2 pack a day smoker and a meth addict. I was addicted to nicotine among other things. However, we did learn, with numerous addiction counselors, that not everyone who uses substances becomes addicted. Your little picture is cute, but it proves absolutely no point. I've been there and was in a rehabilitation center for several months and in addiction counseling for a year. I know better than that.

And even prior to that stint of treatment, I did know a number of people who smoked at will. Literally every now and then, just when they wanted to. They were far from addicted. They may smoke a couple of times a month.

I guess we'll never know because I quit smoking and don't plan on buying a pack just to find out. I am sure you probably have some coffee there in your house. Make yourself a cup, try to talk in tongues while you are drinking, and report back to us with the results.

The psychological addiction is much harder to overcome than the actual physical addiction to nicotine. Maybe Carp was talking about the psychological addiction and not the physical one. Who knows with him? He didn't start this thread, so he probly thinks it's a dumb thread to begin with. He's like that, ya know!

No, I didn't know. I appreciate that info.

What am I doing on this thread? I was trying to stay away... I guess I'm addicted!
