Also, the crossmember of the frame goes all the way thru the siderails and is welded on both sides........just a couple of the many upgrades!

I did see a piece on Ford's website that dealt with the differences in construction between the three. When they started taking the trucks apart, there were significant differences in the Ford, especially with the front doghouse. I was more of a frame with the fenders and other pieces bolted to it, rather than the fenders and all the pieces making up the frame, once bolted together. Also, the test they did driving the trucks at high speed over the obstacle course was very eye opening. The back ends on the Chevy and Dodge were bouncing all over the place and the Ford stayed fairly stable. The only drawback I could with the Ford is that it's very difficult to see past the tailgate because it's so high.
