Are you denying that you believe that when the Bible speaks about the bishop having one wife, and that means that only men can be bishops???
HO, why do you persist in putting words in men's mouths? I NEVER said this. You said I did and I asked you to show me where. Here you go again. Where did I say this? This is false and you know it. I wish you would stay with the subject and leave the untrue statements out.
All I can say now is, "Sister, God bless you!"

Again, you are evading the question. It's a simple 'yes' or 'no'.
Your apparent denial above makes it sound like you believe in women bishops. Is that true? Or do you believe only men can be bishops?
It's a simple answer. I'm not sure why you are taking such offense to answering.

I think you need to read his post again. Nowhere does he say ONLY, as you claim, and he even stated that women can preach!!!
As for 'those who have praised' his post.....how many did you count, 2?? LOL!
No, I read it well. He provides what he considers as evidence that a woman can prophesy. Then he suggests that this means more. But where is his Bible for any of that?
He is way off track in saying that Paul wasn't speaking under God's inspiration. Nope, I will not agree with any man that uses such evidence to 'prove' biblical Truth.

You didn't believe his scripture from Joel that he posted where it says that 'sons and daughters will prophesy'??? Aren't daughters, women??? You don't think the Bible is evidence enough???

Simple answer? Of course it's a simple answer, but your question is NOT the subject of this forum.
I know what you’re doing. Shooting the postman doesn't change the mail. If you’re position on women preachers had any biblical merit, you’d be posting your scriptural evidences instead of empty rhetoric. You inability and avoidance of this just amplifies how weak your position truly is.

prophesy, as used in Joel and Acts:
to prophesy, to be a prophet, speak forth by divine inspirations, to predict
1. to prophesy
2. with the idea of foretelling future events pertaining esp. to the kingdom of God
3. to utter forth, declare, a thing which can only be known by divine revelation
4. to break forth under sudden impulse in lofty discourse or praise of the divine counsels
1. under like prompting, to teach, refute, reprove, admonish, comfort others
5. to act as a prophet, discharge the prophetic office
You can claim there is no evidence, but the Bible disagrees with you.

He might have been here but apparently didn't have time or didn't care to post. Since speaking against women preachers has been his candy stick the last couple of days, I'll believe that it's the former rather than the latter.
So considering they might not have anything else to say isn't even an option?

I already answered this:

It is not up to 'US' to say; it's up the the Word of God.

L&F, is there a legit reason why you won't answer my posts where I answered you?
I thought I was. Seems you and I are talking a lot.
