Your apparent denial above makes it sound like you believe in women bishops. Is that true? Or do you believe only men can be bishops?

No, I read it well. He provides what he considers as evidence that a woman can prophesy. Then he suggests that this means more. But where is his Bible for any of that?

He is way off track in saying that Paul wasn't speaking under God's inspiration. Nope, I will not agree with any man that uses such evidence to 'prove' biblical Truth.

You didn't believe his scripture from Joel that he posted where it says that 'sons and daughters will prophesy'??? Aren't daughters, women??? You don't think the Bible is evidence enough???

I know what you’re doing. Shooting the postman doesn't change the mail. If you’re position on women preachers had any biblical merit, you’d be posting your scriptural evidences instead of empty rhetoric. You inability and avoidance of this just amplifies how weak your position truly is.

prophesy, as used in Joel and Acts:

to prophesy, to be a prophet, speak forth by divine inspirations, to predict

Prophesying doesn’t make one a prophet anymore than witnessing makes one a preacher. There is a specific calling to be a ‘prophet.’ The type you posted is not dealing with that.

It is not up to 'US' to say; it's up the the Word of God.
