You're a lawyer - you know how to do research. Go back and find it. It's only a few pages back.

I was just going to make a post about the fact that we all (as husbands and wives) bargain with one another sometimes or use the art of persuasion perhaps. That's one thing. That's not a bad thing. That isn't being manipulative or controlling in the negative sense.

It's also not about using beauty or sex in a deceptive devious manner to accomplish something or other and to get our own way. There's a difference.

LOL! TB said here a couple minutes ago that you were agreeing with me. I said, "Oh no she isn't!!"
Lol.....I am agreeing that I don't use this - haven't ever and won't ever.

It's a matter of interpretation on the words you are using - persuasion/controlling/manipulative - - - can all mean the same thing and can absolutely get the same results!

Also, we aren't just talking about deceptive and devious - - manipulating doesn't have to mean it's deceptive and devious.

Now, what went on within the privacy of someone's home, only they would know. However, I think I'm going to call up some of my good male friends and tell them to wipe the satisfied look off their face, that they are probably not the lover boys they think. They are actually being used by their wives.

Friend

I think I will start a campaign that requires all married women to take a lie detector test following sex.

Nor would I, but we are talking about married women, not a boss. I'd never view my boss in such a way, that's just creepy...

2. If she is saying that when choosing a partner for life you need to be looking for more than mere physical attractiveness and charm, then good for her because it's true.

3. Again ... I say that what young women and men should be hearing is that they need to live consecrated sold out lives seeking the will of God in regard to their future and future spouse as well.

And they need to be taught as well that there are qualities to be looking for in a mate that go beyond looks and personality and a great body that will make for a solid quality marriage that will stand the test of time.

I guess I just kind of thought that this is kind of normal stuff that young people in apostolic churches would be hearing from youth leaders and pastors and parents at home too.
Newman, I'll do your research for you.

That was a little low Felicity.

But I have made it PERFECTLY CLEAR I'm talking about the nasty deceptive, devious, controlling, selfish kind of manipulation.

I just feel sorry for all those women who have to "fake it".
