Re: 5 Things AFF Doesn't Know About Me!

I have tons of books too. Most of them religious but lots of others too. Some of them, I sell on half.com. I also work in a library and bring home stuff every time almost. My kids always say "Mom, what did you bring??"

Good to see you online today.
I read this post by Renda this am and thought her answers pretty quirkey so I decided to answer in the same sort of dialogue just for fun but honestly there are some things we all have to be truthful about and I do like the fact that my husband has a nice head of hair.lol. He is a treasure in an earthen vessel but if he had less hair I would still take him.
Quirkey?

Thanks! Renda read it, I'm sure!!

I used to be very open online pre-FCF. I used to write a lot, testimonies, stories, poems, but then some people sued my church and my husband and I changed my views on standards and at that point I had to be mum, not by choice. After the lawsuit and leaving the UPC, I was too shell-shocked to get into anything much online. And, after getting a threatening email once that kept me up all night long, I left AFF for a while. Then, I figured I'm not going to let fear run my life and I started posting again.

LOL! She probably did. It wasn't anything all that interesting. Some things about my parents that I didn't want to share in the event someone got the wrong idea about them - old school thinking - the prejudice thing for one.

I did say I was "Girl gone Wild" after I graduated, so in school I rarely did anything other than being a smart aleck. One of my sisters married a boy I graduated with. They were great friends, lost touch, and got married a couple of years ago! Anyway, I saw him a couple of weekends ago. My youngest sister called and told me he said, "I could tell you some stories about your sister. She had one smart mouth in High School!"

I don't remember any of it. We are planning a visit in the next month or two. I guess I'll find out about it all! I do remember threatening about 15 girls in a fight behind the cafeteria for picking on a friend of mine. No one took me up on it.

I know what you mean, ILG. That would cause me to step back, rethink and then re-load too! LOL!

I've enjoyed our dialogue on this thread!!! I know I've come across, at times, as being impatient with some things you've written and today I truly apologize for it.

Two questions:

1. Your church got sued because of something you posted on line?

2. You received a threatening email from an AFF member?

Thanks, PO. I know some of the things I say are not always too well recieved here. I am honestly not sure if I am being too critical or if people just need to listen to what the heck I have to say for once and not judge me for what I have to say. I suspect a little of both. So, I too am sorry if I have offended with my passion to see things righted.
