its funny... you say you don't know any young people who don't understand/agree with standards...

but I have to say, if I went to your church, I surely wouldn't tell you I didn't understand/agree with anything you say... I mean, look at your response to people on an anonymous Internet message board... It'd probably be 10 times worse to people in your church who you see in person...

I've met tons of people who understand submission and who follow the standards even though they disagree with them...

But I've yet to meet someone my age who actually agrees with/understands them...

Especially ones like the pants issue... We grew up in a world where 99% of the women around us wore pants, we don't see pants as only a man's garmant, no matter how much it is drilled into our head in church... it just doesn't make sense in the society we live in...

and most people my age realize that the Internet = tv in pretty much ever way and, if there is a difference, the internet is worse...

Do they read the Bible, I know lots of young people who have it in their hearts and not just their heads. They know exactly why they do it. Many of them were not raised in church, and do it not becase someone makes them but because its a God thing.
