“White media get to the back! Black media come to the front!” shouted an organizer with a bullhorn.
The organizer, annoyed that people weren’t immediately adhering to her instructions, began hectoring white journalists who hadn’t complied.
“Excuse me, sir!” she yelled. “Somebody needs to tell this person to get to the back…. Somebody needs to tell these folks to get to the back!”

Infrastructure!!! Paid family medical leave!!! Comprehensive immigration reform! Upward wages for the middle class! Wall Street and the super rich will pay their fair share of taxes!!! The Soviet Union and Russian Empire are two different things. I was referring to the latter. The Democrats loved the USSR in the 80's, as I have already pointed out, but detest "Russia".

And how did the Japs become our enemy? They were our ally in WW1 as was Italy. But we forced Great Britain to cancel long standing military alliances they had with both nations, driving them both into the arms of Hitler. We did not need to pick a fight with Japan, especially over China which wound of becoming a more vicious dictatorship than Imperial Japan ever dreamed of being. We could have drawn a line in the Pacific and told Japan to not cross it. They did not want war with us. They would have agreed to such an arrangement in exchange for oil. We used such a policy of containment with the Soviets after WW2, did we not? Instead we allowed them to attack Pearl Harbor after we knew the ships were on the way. FDR should have hung for that. Destroying the Japanese Empire only led to millions more dying in Asia from communism. Keeping Japan out of the South and Eastern Pacific should have been our only goal.
