Is this how you distinguish

Re: Who really is Satan?
by trusting some guy with a tie to tell us, of course. All of those "bad" verses apply to other people
If you then, being evil... reinforces this idea. Others also.

Well you have to be intelligent. You have to pray for wisdom.
Satan is not a man. We can see that from several scriptures. So clearly to any intelligent being Peter is not literally Satan.

Mark 8:33
But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples,
he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me,
Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God,
but the things that be of men.
Is this all just figurative
or had Satan entered into Peter?

Re: Who really is Satan?
Peter was just choosing what any well meaning religionist would choose; prolly not the same thing as possession.

yes, and i can support it with Scripture in many, many places. You do not eat only plants, per the beginning of Genesis, but animals also, per later. You use fire. Man is "fallen." Even nature reflects satan's influence, imo. You are forgiven upon rebound, and might reach a state of perfection, but thinking that it just happens after some altar works is imagination, imo.

Re: Who really is Satan?
Now the devil was more subtil
than any spirit in the Christian churches.
And he said unto HappyJ, Yea, hath Jesus said,
unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan:
And HappyJ said unto the devil, I believe Jesus word for word.
And the devil said unto the Word,

So Peter is chosen to basically start the New Testament church and performs all kinds of miracles in Jesus name. Jesus sends him a vision for gentiles and Peter strives for the rest of his life to do what Jesus told him to do until his execution because of the name of Jesus and you somehow get the notion that Peter will be denied by Jesus? Peter professed Jesus name until his murder. So the very notion he didn't because of 3 trials that he failed doesn't wash.
By your logic there is no such thing as forgiveness?...
If Peter isn't going to heaven Lord knows none of the rest of us are. Heaven gonna be pretty much empty by your logic.
Paul didn't believe Jesus was the Christ either initially, so according to you he also is going to hell. Peter also wrote some books of the bible.... if he is going to hell they should be ignored.
All manner of sins (pretty much) can be forgiven, including denying Jesus. One must be truly repentant but it can be forgiven.

So, no, Jesus will not deny Peter before the Father.
When he said "and one of you is a devil" he was referring to Judas, not Peter.
