I will be at Holiday World Sunday July 22. I love all the rides there.

Kewl. My wife may end up waiting on you. She is trying to transfer to working the water slide. There's a new Comfort Inn here in Rockport, if you will be needing a place to stay. Supposed to be a pretty nice hotel. Plus, there is a UPC church right here in town.

Rico,
I owned a 1984 F-150. It was good on gas. But, when it needed a tune-up, it was very wasteful. It'd burn $10 of gas from the gas station to home.

The early 80s were really bad years for Ford trucks on gas mileage. Unless, of course, you happened to have a 300 6 cylinder. Things improved by the late 80s though. I have consistently gotten 18mpg out of this van and it is a full sized club wagon model, which is a bit heavier because the interior is finished and has seats in it. I am gonna do something about getting it checked out in the next few days, though. One bad sensor can mess up gas mileage big time nowadays.

That was a good motor. In fact, when Ford decided to make the 351 H.O., it was based on the 351W. That was one mean engine. I had one in a van once and it could flat out get it and hit it! Lots and lots of gasoline though. In fact, the van I had when I moved here had the 351 H.O. in it. Had to get rid of it because it only got 10 miles to the gallon.

If the people I sold it to do not sell it, I may buy it back. Even if I have to pay 5x what I sold it for.
