Ummm, say what???? How on earth do you think this invalidates Paul's teaching below?

11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.....14 I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, 15 if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God

Ohhh, never mind - the spirit of tradition is alive & well among "Apostolics." Wasting my time & the Word of God - sad, honestly sad.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

So all these people who found Christ through
a woman's ministry are not really saved because
women are not qualified to preach the gospel
and are obviously not working through or by the Holy Spirit?

Think about it rdp, because that is basically what you are saying…..

And Bible history teaches us that many women hosted churches in their homes...and of course they took care of the services...

Ummm, how do you think this somehow validates "women preachers" in the Bible?

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

Really I will never change my opinion or belief because I know God called me when I was 8 years old to be a missionary and my friend will never change his opinion...and many times discussions like this cause people to become bitter enemies...That I do not desire. I need everyone's prayers...we fight a big battle each day...

Anyway, in a few hours the sisters and I will be cooking for some 600 people...so my sermon tomorrow night will come from a tired missionary...and a sick one at that...but am doing a series on the tabernacle and need to finish my part...

Same ol - same ol' I see. Ignore the clear ramifications of I Tim. 2.11-14 & expect me to chase rabbit trails all night.

A "Prophetess" is not a NT minister in the set-in official capacity - else Paul dropped the ball in his list all throughout the NT. Worse, a "Prophetess" is not a "woman preacher" from the Scriptures (& not one-single biblical example exists of a woman doing so) - but rather one who spontaneously reveals the hidden counsels of God (much like interpretation of tongues). See Dr. Joesph Thayer for more on this.

Don't "umm" so much.
It makes you look arrogant.

Would love to see the "Bible history" that specifically states a woman led the church service:__________?

Again, most respectfully, you are taking your liberties with the word of God - that, I cannot do.

God Bless.......

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

“And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly... And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him...For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, showing by the Scriptures that Yahshua was the Messiah” (Acts 18:26-28)...This short passage in Acts 18 is very telling, especially with respect to the subject of women in the churches. ..Here is the apostle Paul... He meets a man and wife, whom he soon discovers work together, sort of as a traveling evangelistic team...First they were in Rome, then in other parts of Italy, then in Corinth... Now they are in Ephesus, and we will soon find out that their travels in helping to preach the gospel continued as well...Some people seem to feel that Paul tends to put a greater emphasis on Priscilla than he does on Aquila... This is deduced from the fact that her name is listed first more often than her husband’s...And, quite frankly, this is most often the meaning of such an order of names in the Bible... In this case, however, there is really no need for us to know which of the two individuals was considered the more prominent... The point is that both the man and the woman were equally engaged in serving the early churches... They dedicated their lives to this task... And this was not a situation where Aquila did all the preaching and teaching, while Priscilla served them tea and biscuits!.. She was as much a teacher of the truth as was her husband!.. And, in the case of Apollos, it is expressly stated that both of them took part in expounding the Scriptures to this great man of God...
