- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I'm not UPCI and I have a TV...
Somewhere in the backroom piled underneath some junk along with some of my cousin's garbage movies and cds!
Don't have internet at home either.

Whew!
It just seems that that there is a whole lot to preach for, and my list doesn't even scratch the surface.
But ya know, this is just me...as I say, I am not a preacher.

When spirituality ceases to evolve, it becomes a religion of outdated practices.

I have a tv that I don't watch it that often but when I do, I watch the news or Law & Order, Dexter, Homeland, 1,000 Ways to Die, O'Reily Factor, Hardball with Chris Matthews, National Geographic specials, History Channel specials, the Weather Channel, WWE, some PPV MMA fights, NFL and College Football, NBA and NCAA Basketball, Seinfeld re-runs, Golden Girls, Burn Notice, Hot In Cleveland, Sunny in Philladelphia, I (Almost) Got Away With It, Scared Straight, Sins & Secrets, Unusual Suspects, Fatal Encounters, a few BET and MTV music videos, Ridiculousness, TOSH.0, Wheel of Fortune, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, Would You Like to be a Millionaire, Swamp People, South Park, The Simpsons, The Clevelands, Pawn Stars, Shipping Wars, 48 Hours, some HBO, Cinemax, Shotime, TMC movies in English and in Spanish (depending on how I feel)-- of and when I miss church on Sundays, I'll make sure to watch Joel O'Steen because he always anesticizes my pain WITHOUT asking for that much money.
But for real, I don't watch that much tv.

Re: Is TV now the norm in the UPCI home?
I have a 46" LED Sony Google TV. No cable. The tv has a few android apps, including Netflix that I have a subscription to; I also have a Roku player.
I've thought about cancelling Netflix, because it's a major waste of time. I spend too much time watching The West Wing, Storm Chasers, AFV, and movies. And my daughter probably spends too much time watching her cartoons like Dora, Diego, SuperWhy, and LeapFrog.
I tried over the weekend to keep it limited, but still found that I spent about 3 hours saturday night watching Storm Chasers without even thinking about the time.
Growing up, we had a computer monitor that had a/v inputs for a vcr. We had a ton of BOTT videos and that's all that was allowed.
Ironically, we also had a reel to reel projector and screen, and I was allowed to rent films from the library. I never understood why reel to reel films of Charlie Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy, 3 Stooges and other Hollywood films were acceptable, but when the format changed to vcr suddenly we couldn't watch it.
