I have seen many sleeves above the elbow, and in almost every case the chest and armpit of the person can be easily seen. I am not condemning as I know many who do wear shorter sleeves, but it is still a fact. Garments that are above the knee will expose much of the thigh, and in many cases more. That is why it is why these are the lines endorsed, and if you look at church history, I am not by any means an exetremist at any other period of time.
If armpits turn somebody on I think they have more issues than short sleeves!

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
Quote from Ethel Goss (widow of 1st UPC Gen Supt. Howard Goss) book "The Winds of God"
John 7:24
24Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
-Jesus Christ
You ought to know by now you can't use a scripture like that here, Michael.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 KJV
One has to be looking awful close to see an armpit or a breast through a sleeve hole.
one may be looking to closely in fact lol
I'm having flash backs of the guy whose wife wore her sleeves to her wrists and her dressed several inches below her knees and her dumb OP husband was fired from his job for looking at porn on company internet.
