Thank you!
Things are still going well. I'm currently about 30 weeks along, and so the time is growing near! Josh and I took our first childbirth class last week, so I am having to think more about that, ouch!
Recently, I failed my 1 hour gestational diabetes test. I was then scheduled to take the 3 hour test, but I was "disqualified" by throwing up in the middle! I took it again yesterday, and with the help of an anti-nausea pill managed to make it through. Now I have to wait a week to find out if I passed. If so, no more
Things are pretty stressful right now, and not just being 7 months pregnant!
I recently found out that my job might be going away fairly soon. I drive a company car, so if I lose my job, I will also lose my car. Not to mention how will i look for work this pregnant??
And of course, there is still the continuing saga of my Mom's health. She was diagnosed with Cancer of the Bile duct last summer and given only 4 months to live. We were lucky in that she qualified for an experimental treatment where they remove the cancerous portions as well as the liver and do a transplant. After 6 months of chemo and radiation, and one false alarm on New Year's Eve, she finally got her transplant on her 62nd birthday, March 11th.
Thus far everything with the liver has been fine, though she had some other problems and needed 2 additional surgeries, so she is still in the hospital, though will hopefully getting home soon.
My sister has been down here for the past 2 weeks helping out, but my aunt who was supposed to come next decided to "leave Michelle to deal with it", so we are trying to figure out how to care for my Mom (the rest of my family lives 900 miles away), not overdue it during my pregnancy, and not miss to much work while I actually have a job (in my husbands case, so he can take some time when the baby is born).
Needless to say, my life is crazy!
