Ain't that the truth when I visit Dad sometimes it has been Charismatic convention at dinner with me being the lone ranger and my good wife. I mind my manners they leave me alone I leave them alone BUT if they shoot that mortar across the bridge then.......................................

That is generally how things go for me also. I try to be pleasant and enjoy the company. They have long since learned that to debate the Godhead with me is a losers game so for the most part we talk about harmless subjects.

when I was young[er], my family used to say stuff like "...you can't change your religion... you were born catholc and you'll always be catholic.." I said "who determines that?" They'd answer with off the wall stuff like "..the priest.." or "..the pope.."

Boy when Dad has guests which is often they really tread on thin ice some times since they know what we are by looking at us somehow it invokes some stupid comment. I do NOT allow anyone to insult my wife they start down that road then the storm is on the way. Dad will gently but firmly guide the conversation in a different direction. My family repsects us and never tries to put us in an awkward position. It is only when those Charismatic (jerk) preachers who are so full of love decide to insult us in my own father's home. And yes it has happened but not often. I must say about Carlton Pearson he was an absolute gentleman in every respect. And that was in hay day.
