Actually the word son does not even appear in the geneology in reference to Adam. It says Adam was OF God and then Seth was the SON of Adam

True. SON is in italics indicating it was not in the actual copies of manuscripts.

I call your attention to Luke 3:38...

"Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God."

Sorry, I say we are. If I had an actual birth, and God begat me, then I am a Son of God.

1Jo 3:2 KJV Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Luk 3:38 KJV Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

THE SON is in italics. It was not in the original writings of the bible. It was added for anglicized clarity.

No, you are NOT a Son of God, you are a son of God.

Yes, and all these who were of Seth, Adam, etc. were of them just as Adam was of God.

So I guess the bible is wrong according to you.Gen.6
[2] That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
[4] There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
[10] And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
[18] But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.
