Re: Dr.Daniel Segraves book The Search for the Wor

While it is true that we no longer have the original NT.
We do have Gods opinion of the original NT.
God has imbedded ELS codes within the aramaic text that confirm the exact length of the original new testament in aramaic and the number of books-27.
Use a codefinder on any computer to search out these wonderful statements about the birth of Jesus. The odds of these statements being coincidental are well over a million-trillion to 1.
A letter added or substracted would wipe out these beautiful hidden statements.
This would confirm Gods word that not a single stroke will disappear from the law until all is fulfilled-matt5;18. Once we have the full original text (in aramaic) -it could be translated to all languages.
We would be more sure of the actual original Word of God and be willing to take our stand on it no matter what comes against us.

So nobody could know what God's Word is until IBM came along?

The New Testament was written - and transmitted - in Greek. There are plenty of internal evidences to indicate it is not a translation into Greek but was actually written in Greek. There is zero evidence that shows it was originally written in Aramaic, or "Hebrew". The primary Old Testament text used by the church from day 1 up to several centuries later was Greek. Even the Jews used the Greek OT, until they abandoned it due to its heavy use by Christians. The lingua franca of the 1st century church was koine Greek. The majority of the NT was written TO Greek speaking gentile believers. It contains within itself quoted Aramaic and Hebrew terms for which it provides Greek interpretations/translations. All these and more clearly indicate a Greek linguistic origin for the NT text. This has been and still is undisputed except by a few fringe Hebrew text and Aramaic text supremacists who have little or no actual scholarly support beyond weird hand waving about hocus pocus computer "codes" and a couple flat earth tier youtube videos.
