I suppose I am thankful for the warmth and glad times endowed upon us by Ozzie & Harriet and how I wasn't in Tibet when 100,000's of people were being massacred at the same time (1960). Imagine that sort of carnage today.

That was the same year that the "Greatest Earthquake" ever recorded in human history took place. The tremor spanned a line of faults from Chile to Alaska and dropped parts of downtown Anchorage by as much as 30 feet. Crescent City, CA was completely awash by a tsunami (Matthew 24:7; Mark 13:8; Luke 21:11). But there were not any events that were really linked to the "end times" that took place back then, were there? Nothing "bad" likke today.

While you were playing Roy Rogers, Africans were chopping fellow African into peices with machetees. Stalin's purges (+20 million dead) were giving way to Khruschev's "Iron Fist" (merely 100,000's dead) and young American boys were having their hands bound tightly behind their backs with barbwire that was then twisted around their necks before being shot in the head along the highway from Inchon to Pusan.

Yeah, I can just "spew" out the bliss from the idyllic past but for some reason I can't seem to get on that bandwagon to Armageddon with you today.

If He has "come back already" then we who are "alive and remain" are already fulfilling the scripture... so shall we ever be with the Lord.

LOL. You're one of the good ones D4T! I was actually reaching for a bit more irony. Because I had criticized the Full Preterist position some folks had associated me with the view.

I would like to see His coming in my lifetime- but the more I study and read on this issue- I am not sure if He will. "No man knows..."
