He was not elected President of the United States because he is Black.
If you are going to make this statement, then back it up with the proof.
This unlikely President was elected in large part because GWB's approval ratings were SO BAD!
It would have been nothing short of a miracle for the Republicans to win that election.

I am SURE that if President Obama had run as a Republican and Sen McCain as the Democrat, President #44 would be John McCain.

I disagree. IMO, had he been white, Hillary would have defeated him in the primaries.
I do not think McCain could have won against her either.
It's historic, whether race or gender.

Re: Race Based Government?
All I asked for was something to naw on. Something I can read that shows she is a racist. Trying to have an open mind around here is an invitation for scorn sometimes lol

I think you may be right about this.
I agree that GWB had bad ratings and the Dem's spent a fortune to make sure they kept it that so that they could get whoever they wanted in. I honestly believe HC did not get the Dem nod because they could not control her. They think they can control BO and I think they may be right. They put him in office and this term they will get their way. If he gets it next election year it will because he actually DOES something. Which I hope happens but not with the Dem's controlling him. IF he gets a backbone and actually does something of his own agenda he may have a chance otherwise I will bet we have a Republican back in office in for years.

Is it unfair for me to speculate that maybe you don't like Filipinos?

Malkin's ties to the site (VDARE.com) are legion: it regularly prints her column, while she employs one of its writers, Juan Mann, as the principal writer of her "Immigration Blog" and lists the site on her blogroll. And it's not as if Malkin isn't well aware of the criticism, both of the site and her ties to it -- in a post on her blog in September 2004, she noted that "my friend Peter Brimelow [the founder of VDARE] observes that some people apparently think linking to VDARE is tantamount to a hate crime."

I agree.
I wasnt a supporter of Obama, but I dont think he got elected because he's black.
We were dealing with the worst economy we've had in decades,PLUS had a president who had the lowest approval rating we've had in years,
PLUS a 72 year old Republican challenger who wasnt generating much excitement.
With that combination of factors, it was pretty much guaranteed to be a Democratic year. Whether Clinton, Obama , Richardson, whoever.... basically any half-decent Democrat would have won.

However, your post ignores the fact that a Republican was not going to win that election.
Had Obama run as a Republican, he would have lost.
Therefore, he was not elected because he is Black.
It's not like millions of Americans decided one day to vote for President Obama simply because we wanted to "paint the White House black."
How is it so difficult to fathom that many people, naively or not, voted for this man because they believe him?
Reducing his accomplishment solely to his race is insulting and not right at all.
