As much as I strive to be like Christ _ I am NOT Christ and do not have the same capabilities of rising above the injustices and hurts. I haven't thought of being "Used" by God in a positive sense in a long time. "Used" is a very negative term for "suffer", and that I have done...more than you know.

Re: Changing Denominations

This might be a hard pill to swallow but our hurts and trials can help us to grow stronger in The Lord.
I'll be honest I've had thoughts of abandoning The Christian faith but I ain't gonna do it,I might fall and fail but Jesus never fails.
I know God has a plan for me and I don't want to miss out,and what He has for me.

95% of christians today of any organization could not define what Trinity or Oneness means.

To me it is a mute point one that is argued more by ministers within their respective organizations than by those wanting to be saved...

Labels are not as important as what we live and we believe, our fruit is what really counts.

Amos & Mrs. CS, You are like so many others and I don't want to be like you in the least. I respect your right to be narrow-minded but I have little respect for the belief system that you espouse: with the exception of Acts 2: 38.

You are right on that one! Probably the exceptions to the rule would be A of G's. that is only because of their struggles against the Oneness doctrine.

One time on the radio I heard a preacher preaching, it was awesome oneness stuff. This guy had it down good. Then at the end he said" And this is the definition of the Trinity!" Blew me away! All along I thought I was oneness just to find out I was a Trinitarian! NOT

Sis CS, it is you, and others like you that I have no toelrance for so what you think of me is of no consesequence.
Sis. Alvear, I do understand the concept of what you are saying but you must understand that for me to allow myself to be put in the position of another inflicting these same open wounds would be egregious on my part - wouldn't you say?

Respectfully, Rhoni
Dear Sister,

Surely you understand that calling someone's faith a cult is apt to stir strong emotions?

Do you expect those kinds of very volatile and inflammatory statements to be met with no reaction whatsoever?

Perhaps if we all spoke to one another with more of the gentleness and meekness of Christ we could avoid such divisive conversation and labels.

The testimony of David was, "Thy gentleness hath made me great."

Would that were our collective goal.

Re: Changing Denominations

I'm not God nor am I Sister Rhoni's judge and jury but God can heal any wounds we might have.
Things that can be painful, memories can hurt but grace is sufficent for any need we have.
