Im my "opinion" it isn't what is posted but the "spirit" & "attitude" in which the post comes.
Most of us aren't rocket scientists but pretty much all of us can tell when someone wants to post to "pick a fight" rather than posting for "disscussions sake."

Most of us on here agree the UPCI has faults and weaknesses and is not perfect, however most don't want to be reminded every second or third post or thread.

To the Liberal minded, some of the things you are accusing good men & women of God of Standards as thought control & legalistic, are something that they hold very dear.

To our more Conservative brethren, some that are liberal haven't nessecarly
"backslid" they may have more liberty than others in some things.
They desire to be respected as well-if not for their doctrines sake, for their position in the body of Christ's sake.

Us mods, well we are fighting terribly to actually show that we have convictions on some things without apearing to be a fence straddler!

Is this a disscussion board where things are truly disscussed & analysed from different viewpoints, or is it just a "I post and if you dare dissagree you must be a hard ultra con, or a greesy liberal."

That isn't going to foster any open topics for disscussion.

I believe there is still good threads to come, the best post is yet to be made.
There are still more fun things yet to be done on these forums.

What we need is a healthy "Respect" for one another.
Sad that we can do that to the others in the world, but we find it hard to give it to our Brothers & Sisters in the Lord.

As for me I love all of you-some more easly than others.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Just some ramblings from a Hard Headed Canadian who is still walking towards his eternal destination.

God Bless!

Ron

As to the CAF and the UCs... what causes you to think that I am dependent on them for my fellowship. I am in fellowship with men from both ends of the spectrum. I trust that you are not so insecure that if the UL left you would feel uncomfortable among UCs.

I have no idea what you think you know about where I stand on anything other than my personal consecrations and the salvation message but it would probably be eye opening if you ever took the time to put your prejudice aside and get to know me.
Phil ... I know you are fairly moderate ... and if Ronzo gave you his seal of approval weeks ago ... I trust him. Phil ... you are very well-balanced and I admire that. I am in fellowship for many of the reasons you are.

I love the labels however ... because it's fun ... but I view most of the posters here as unique ... except for some of the CLONES that will remain un-named.

I agree with Newman that part of what made FCF great was monthly articles written by some of the gifted writers on controversial subjects.

It might be a good thing to arrange to have some write such an article in a section of this forum, and have a thread linked directly to that article. Then the simpletons, such as myself, can write one or two sentence opinions of the article!

I've suggested it several times but it never happens. Not sure why. We have some good able talented inspired and anointed writers.

There you go reading between the lines when there is nothing there! I was thinking perhaps WWOD really lacked one of the three.........

Besides you are not that hard to keep up with, maybe your a little faster of the keys is all. And that's not always a good thing is it?
