Re: Did you graduate from CLC
My family has a extensive history with WABC, CLC, etc. I think only Raven beats us. My grandfather and Clyde knew each other when he pastored in South Cal. My uncle Danny Orr as well as his sisters (my aunts) attended the church, school and some even worked at Hooisers Inn.
I graduated in 1992 from CLC, went to High School with Raven's son, was a youth pastor to Raven's other son and daughter in law (she came to the small group in my home). I worked for Kenneth and he married my wife and I.
A lot of water under the bridge, I will be going to CLC's graduation on Saturday to see one of my son's in the Gospel graduate. I fear that the history of the college is not very good (money, vision, etc.) but I hope my fears are unjustified.

This photo is BK = Before Keith. This is a 1963 picture with Keith's Dad in it. I thought Keith4Him and others might find it interesting. Sorry for the quality. I'm also in the photo but I have a hard time reconciling that young man with the one that stared back at me in the mirror this morning. This is the WABC Freshman Class in 1963 taken at the Haggin Museum in Victory Park. Two contenders for Western District Superintendent in last years election are also in it, standing side by side in the back row.

Forgive me, I meant to say future, not history, CLC (WABC) has a tremendous history. It changed my life and allowed me to grow in ways that I can never repay.

I wondered if that was what you meant. I suppose I am biased but I think we got the best CLC had to offer in the early 90's.

Yeah, I feel the same. Hard to compete with Dan Segraves and Loren Yadon and others.

Re: Did you graduate from CLC
Raven, I was in my second or third year(all depends what month that picture was taken)at WABC the year that picture was taken. Some of you freshmen used to drive one of my class mates up the wall. He was much older, in fact he had just retired from the Army as a Captain. He just passed away a month or so ago.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your classmate. Were his initials "BG"? If so, we were in error of his rank because we always called him "Sarge". We probably drove a lot of people up the wall. I only wish I was as smart now as I thought I was back then.

Yes, it was B.G. He enlisted in the Army in 1940 and came up through the ranks. He retired as Captain in 1960 just before inrolling at WABC. He was a highly decorated hero. receiving many citations including the Silver Star with Valor, the third highest highest decoration that can be awarded. Bro Dugas was also a highly decorated soldier, also receiving the silver star. We never know when we may be in the presence of heros because Hero's never advertise their bravery because they just do what they are called to do and seldom feel like heros. To me Bill was just a good friend.
