Lee Stoneking on TV - Page 5

If this is true, then I have lost much respect for Lee Stoneking since he preached against tv. Just like another esteemed elder who can't seem to get enough exposure from TBN and the Bakker Show.

Okay, let me restate this; if this is true, then I have lost much respect for him if he is condoning tv.
You are correct that he didn't air it personally, but if his statement is in context and is in fact true, then it would lend credence to the assumption that he is pro-tv at which point I would no longer listen to his preaching.
This stands true for other elders who have changed their stances on holiness issues. I will not allow their preaching in my home.

You ought to think this through.

Maybe Stoneking does not watch TV but does not mind his testimony of the grace and power of God to be broadcast on TV.

And maybe if more things like this were aired on TV, those against TV may have to rethink calling it the devil's box.

Sunday night I watched the Lee Stoneking pep rally at POA. I missed the first few minutes of the service so I don't know what it was billed as.

He did not preach. It was him telling stories of healings, testimonies, etc that he has been a part of in his travels recently.

It was interesting and certainly got the crowd pumped up but I challenge any of the LS Fan Club to tell me this is one of his "masterpieces" that I keep hearing about but can't seem to find. Some day.......

Lee Stoneking is one of those names I always hear mentioned but really have no idea who he is.

Famous UPC evangelist. Speaks at many major UPC conferences. Usually is an annual speaker at BOTT and the big conference in Stockton.

He is an older guy, single, who almost died a year or two ago while on a trip to Australia. He had a heart attack or something in the airport and when he fell like a rock hit his head. Had a long slow recovery but once again is preaching many meetings worldwide.

LaGirl on AFF is president of his fan club. I don't know how much it cost to join but I think she sends you a full color 8 x 10 pic and a refrigerator magnet with his face on it.

i watched him too. was suppose to be there, but cant travel with this baby on my sciatic nerve. sunday night was good. i had already heard those stories...but i enjoyed it.
