So thats where Jesus got the parable of the speck and the beam? All that hammers n wood in his workshop? Again, its not crazy...its prophetic. Its not the HolyGhosts fault that we havent done our homework in historical context and saw this is how they did things back then. Since OSHA we have been largely ignorant of the dangers of that there annointing. Wear your safety glasses to church people!

Bro, they used to say there was a demon in the TV… Preachers would say that all the time, I’ve heard it called a “demon box” “devils tube” so on and so forth. They would bring the TV up on the platform and destroy it to show the congregation, “this is how you get the devil out of your house”.

Just like TV was thought to be a negative influence in peoples lives, well maybe that pulpit was…..

Careful ... allegedly the wife sent messages to people who posted about this video, claiming defamation and the son sent some dumb message to someone that could be viewed as a veiled threat.

That said, MS District UPCI needs to have a serious talk with this Pastor.

So the pastor tore up the pulpit, and they rebuilt it for the next service? Or was the clip about the new song before the pulpit tear-up?

I watched the two clips, didn't see any context for the pulpit tearing, but I would say maybe it needed to be done. They can get rid of the platform next, sell the cathedral, disband the 501c3, and get closer to the Bible.

As for the song clip, I've seen that kind of thing plenty of times. It's usually needed. One time a church we visited (the church was our pastor's home church) started the song service after the pre-service prayer. Halfway through the first song (or second? Can't recall) the pastor stopped the music and told the church they weren't ready to offer worship because they hadn't really prayed, just went through the motions. Called everybody back to prayer. Prayer service lasted about an hour and half, my daughter got the Holy Ghost, rest of the service went till around midnight, one gigantic worship-slash-alter call service with occasional preaching.

So there's that.
