Re: Hurricane coming towards Florida :(
The U.S. spent $3.8 billion in military aid to Israel in 2023, with $500 million of that dedicated to missile defense ¹. For 2024, Congress approved $14.3 billion in emergency security assistance and $9.2 billion for humanitarian aid ² ³. This aid package includes funding for air and missile defense support, industrial base investments, and replenishment of depleted stockpiles for Israel's air defense missile systems ³.
In addition, the Biden administration announced an $8.7 billion aid package for Israel in late September 2024, which includes $3.5 billion for wartime procurement and $5.2 billion for air defense systems like Iron Dome and David's Sling ³. The U.S. also approved a $20 billion weapons package sale to Israel, including fighter jets and advanced air-to-air missiles ⁴.
It's worth noting that the U.S. provides aid to Israel as part of a 2016 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which directs annual assistance of $3.8 billion in military aid and $500 million in missile defense funding ¹ ³. The U.S. also provides humanitarian aid to Gaza, with the aim of supporting civilians affected by the conflict ⁵ ⁶.

Keeping Sparrow in prayer.
Another storm on the Yucatán peninsula. It will be heading this way and by Sunday we will figure out the direction. Our ground is already saturated. So we are in flood warning right now. We won’t be able to take endless rain until Thursday.

Re: Hurricane coming towards Florida :(
It's sad and scary. Good thing we all stocked up for the strike that didn't happen as now we are more prepped for the hurricane that we thought wouldn't happen. Good grief.

It’s called Hurricane Milton.
Again we will hear more tonight and tomorrow.
A front is hanging low so it wouldn’t be heading north. US model has it at a CAT 2 hitting Tampa then going across. It will be a large system which we (in Florida) will feel the effects. This storm is evolving quickly. It’s pushing rains ahead of its self. Which will be messy. It sounds like a heavy storm. Good grief.

I want to see Americans getting this support. The United States military can build entire cities in the desert in the Middle East. But all the United States government has for the people is $750 check? Israel wants war with every single Bedouin that in 50 feet of the border? But, we have to fund it? Meanwhile when we have a disaster we are told to donate to each other because FEMA is broke? Broke because of an illegal alien invasion across our borders? Ukraine has a war with Russia and that’s my problem? While I’m knee deep in flooding in the streets of Miami? Israel wants to go to war with IRAN?? That’s just called stupid. In any military state of mind. Gaza, Lebanon, and now Iran?!?! But, wait, we have to fit the bill? While my roof is not going to be insured for wind damage??? My roads are unfit for drainage? Our insurance is going to have to be bailed out by the federal government if Milton hits us hard. FEMA is smoked, and wouldn’t be able to buy us a stick of gum if Milton turns into a major hurricane.

Re: Hurricane coming towards Florida :(
Hi all. Thank you all for your prayers. Sorry for the late response. We are ok. We have a lot of damage but nothing that can not be repaired. It took a little while for electricity and internet service to return. So many others have been affected much worse than us.
