The Florida judge set an awesome precedent by using Obama's own words against him. Totally an awesome ruling!
I think that Chris Christie is getting to the core of the angst in this country - unions all around and I'm not sure that the unemployment is going to be the issue this time. Mainly, because the Tea party is demanding reform and not just in the economic sector.
in uncertain economic times, unemployment is the one thing that matters. if it is high, the tea party will be magnifying that.
if it is low, all he has to say is "i told you so"
it is now, and always has been what the Clinton people said it was
"it's the economy stupid"
That is a direct quote not intended to be a reflection on any person posting in this thread.

No, I'm thinking of the "Pressing-On" that I've known here on AFF... about 23 years old, lives in Nova Scotia and operates an Atlantic salmon fishing charter boat. That's you, right?
(Now that was probably said "lightly").
NO, I don't have a boat in Nova Scotia, but everything else seems correct.

Mark this down. if unemployment is above 9%, your dearly departed puppy that we had so much fun with could beat obama
if the number is below 7% I doubt Chris Christie could beat him.
if the number is in the middle, its gonna be a horse race and the republicans better bring it.
the wild card here is what happens to BammerCare. if the Supreme Court delcairs it unconstitutional, Obama may be out no matter what.
I think you're pretty much right on, there; except the "Bammercare." If the SCOTUS takes that albatross off of Obama's neck he might have a lighter load to bear in the election. Depends on timing too, I suppose. Get rid of it quick and he's free. Drag it out and have it still be an election issue and it'll hurt him.
