Jeffrey was born premature as well. He had to receive immediate help with breathing, among other things.

So here's a question for you--if God wanted to heal Jeffrey, why didn't He do it BEFORE he needed to have a tube stuck down his throat? Do you think we waited until after he was in the NICU to start praying?

I assure you, I believe God is a healer, but He often does NOT heal us. Why? Is it because I, as a parent, am unwilling to put my children in imminent danger in order to test my faith?
If it's that sensitive a topic then why post on the thread in the first place? No one has criticized Ferd concerning his son.

Wasn't Luke a physician, as well as, an Apostle?

Bro,

Do you know of anyone in Apostolic circles where their shadow healed anyone? I haven't, but Peter's shadow did heal people. This is what I am talking about, not the few healings that happen every now and then.

Doesn't matter. He didn't use pharmaceuticals. (At least according to OM)

The Bible doesn't say Luke was an apostle.

Do you have proof that he did? If you do, scripture and verse please.

Oh, I wasn't just referring to Ferd. I know what it's like to have a child be deathly ill. Not just a cold or the flu, but actually in a life or death situation.

In fact, when I was 2, I nearly died because my father was holding out for my healing. My grandpa finally took me to the hospital without my father's consent. I was unconscious at the time, and barely breathing. My grandparents were godly, praying people who trusted God and saw many healings in their lifetime. But they had some wisdom, thank God.

Who do you know in this day and age that is as close to God as Peter was?

He was with Paul in II Tim. Was he a Disciple or just a Christian follower? Regardless, how interesting with his skills to be with Paul. I wonder what he was thinking in accordance with his profession?
