Not sure if that would be proper - always thought "thang" was a guy. So he would be sinning having hair that long and there would be no "power" in his hair.
Oooh, you're good!

I believe this story was in a book (perhaps written by Sis. Lumkin) that said she was seeing the doctor for headaches most likely attributed to her long, heavy hair. The doctor asked her to take it down to see how long it was and she kept refusing until finally she did. According to the story, the power of God was strong. The doctor told her she would need to cut her hair to help relieve the headaches, which she again refused. I guess the next time she went back, he asked her to take her hair down again and when she asked him why, he told her he wanted to feel again what he had felt the first time she had taken it down. I can't recall if this is the same story being talked about here but I believe it is.
He probably had a hair fetish!
If someone told me they felt something from my hair and wanted me to take it down so they could feel it again, I'd be outta there real quick!!!

If Pinaoman is wrong about the story being S T R E T C H E D; then I agree with chseeasds. There is something wrong with the doctor.
Either he is a pervert or he is mocking her without her knowing it. What is troubling; is that a room full of women would not recognize the doctor's conduct for what it was....
Unless of course; his sincerity got him to church so that he could have his own experience with God. That might be a long hair tale worth telling.
If this story is true, then there is something wrong with her as well for demonstrating to those women what the doctor 'felt' in her hair!

Although I am my no means a fan of Sis. Lumkin I thank God that they are teaching our ladies to not cut their hair and the power that goes with their uncut hair.
Thank you Jesus.
You teach power in hair doctrine?
That's sad.

DID THE WOMAN WHO TOUCHED THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT HAVE A FETISH TOO ??
What does that have to do with hair and someone saying they felt something when a woman took her's down and wanted them to do it again so they could feel 'it' again?
That's sick, Thad. Real sick.
Jesus didn't claim He had healing in His clothing, nor did He encourage people to touch His clothing. He was also God in the flesh, which makes a huge difference as to her actions.
If she'd done that to your pastor, yes, I'd say she had some sort of problem of the mental flavor.
