Without getting into specifics 35 years is nothing compared to what my family has put into the organization. If fact it is not even close. When I was a firm believer and a card carrying member of this organization we jokingly referred to it as Under Priviliged Children or Uncle Paul's Children. You missed it on this one tstew.
Bro. I didn't respond to the initial post or the one that followed with the "Ultimate Pressure Church" (which I don't beleive is a common joke in the UPC). Even though I do think that it is a little different when those terms are being used by people who now have basically negative things to say about the org (not saying you necessarily).
I only responded many, many posts later when one of the people saying it was getting all over Prax for the incredible "disrespect" of using someone's given name. I found that to be ironic.

Also the sacrifice I speak of with my father has much less to do with the length of time and more with the unique context in which he and my family have sacrificed. It is no big deal however, my comment was not about pedigree, but about the notion of disrespect and respect.
