Re: NT verses about who Jesus was/is
Regarding ignoring the OT, all throughout the New Testament, Jesus and others quoted from the old testament...do we just tear out the 100’s of New Testament verses that are quoting the OT? Just ignore them like they’re not there?
Most certainly that would do a great disservice to the scriptures, our understanding of the PURPOSE they are there, who He is, and not to mention our steadfast walk with God toward spiritual maturity.

Re: NT verses about who Jesus was/is
I found this verses too BCSenior:
[ Act 5:3-4, 9 NKJV] 3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back [part] of the price of the land for yourself? 4 "While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God." ... 9 Then Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband [are] at the door, and they will carry you out."
^ There is only one Spirit.
[ Rev 21:6-7 NKJV] 6 And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
^ He can talk like that because he is God incarnated, the Father of all creation was talking and doing miracles through the incarnation. Jesus is the Father.
[ Jhn 14:16-18 NKJV] 16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-- 17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
^ Jesus said: "I will come to you". Again, he can talk like that because he was the one true God, the Father, the Spirit of truth manifested in flesh.

Re: NT verses about who Jesus was/is
John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven,
but he that came down from heaven,
even the Son of man which is in heaven.
The last part is NOT in the NU manuscripts.
It was either added to the Textus Receptus,
or it was deleted from it.
Everyone knows the NU manuscripts are older.
Everyone knows the Textus Receptus is newer.
So, the last part is unreliable.
Nevertheless, Jesus went back into heaven ...
when He sent the Holy Spirit to replace Him on earth.
The One whom Jesus sent was "another" (John 14:16),
which is "allos", meaning "another of the same kind".
Check it out closely.

Re: NT verses about who Jesus was/is
I am still absorbing your several posts.
Meanwhile, you (plural) may absorb this ...
In the old covenant, God did not reveal Himself as a Triune God.
In the old covenant, born-again Christians have the Holy Spirit
indwelling them, so are much more able to absorb deeper truths.
In the beginning, the Word was with (Father) God
and the Word was God ( John 1:1).
The Word became Jesus ( John 1:14),
so the Word was (at least) “the God part” of Jesus,
and so obviously Jesus was (at least) part God.
In several NT verses …
many people called Jesus “the Son of God” because
the Holy Spirit (God) played the role of Jesus’ “father”.
The Word = Jesus = the Son of God is not Father God.
In several NT verses …
Jesus claimed to be equal with (Father) God,
and others claimed that Jesus was equal to (Father) God.
Jesus (God) prayed to (Father) God in heaven.
All of this Scripture …
Is it too difficult to understand intellectually, or must
the Holy Spirit intervene and reveal the truth spiritually?

Obviously, in lying to God the Holy Spirit, he lied to God.
Yes, there is only one Holy Spirit,
and there is only one Father God,
and there is only one God the Son.

We should not ignore the OT, but the NT is much deeper.
BACs have a new nature.
BACs have the indwelling Holy Spirit.
BACs have all of God's Scriptures.
There is absolutely NO comparison to the poor folks of the OT ...
all they had to believe were their prophets and a few anointed kings!
And most of their prophets were false prophets.

John 14:23
“Jesus answered and said to him,
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;
and My Father will love him, and We will come to him
and make Our home with him." "
Interesting question for you ... Who will come inside the BAC?
Father God and Jesus ...or... Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
IF you have One, you have all Three!
Because They are so entwined in UNITY of purpose and everything else!
Different functions though.

Brother, see how you have to bring a concept from outside the Bible to explain it, but neither we nor the apostles had to do that to explain them. Our interpretation of them goes in line with the rest of the Bible.

Okay, I will no longer explain anything to you! ... I promise.
I will only quote Scripture.
John 14:23
“Jesus answered and said to him,
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;
and My Father will love him, and We will come to him
and make Our home with him." "

Brother, if you go 2 more verses down(18), you will see Who the comforter is, that said He will not leaves us comfortless, but will come himself to be our comforter. We don’t need to comforter that one is somehow not sufficient but the other is.
The Lord is that Spirit- 2 Cor. 3:17
The supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ - Phil. 1:19
Christ in us, is the hope of glory.
