(if you really read the Bible then you should knew that divorce is not alloed and if for any reason a couple is separate then must stay un-married. 100% sure for All Christians!)
Now If you have little fear of God you should be more careful how and for what you speak)

You are a fine one to speak about "fearing God", the way you butcher his word.

Re: Adultery vs Fornication

FORNICATION:
2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
FORNICATION AND ADULTERY ARE 2 DIFFERENT WORDS:
"21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders"
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
MARRIAGE IS THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID FORNICATION OR STAY UN-MARRIED:
[I]1 Cor.7:2 Nevertheless,[U] to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband
THE ONLY WAY TO MARRIED A SECOND TIME IS:
1 Cor.7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
Rom.7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

EVERY DIVORCED CHRISTIAN IS NOT ALLOWED TO MARRY AGAIN AND SO ANY MARRIED COUPLE CAN NOT DIVORCE (if there is a real reason for divorce then they should also stay un-married):
1 Cor.7:10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Mal.2:14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away:

Luke 16:18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

Jews were asked Jesus if according to the law were permitted to divorce for any reason.
Some liberal Jews teach that men should divorce for any reason while others believed that there was only the one exception . That is why only the gospel of Matthew has the phrase " except it be for fornication"
Think a little bit : Do you think that Jews or Jesus had in mind a cheating wife? We know that the law for adultery was DEATH
So the law for adultery was death and no divorce...
We know adultery is when one of the couple leave his/her partner and marry an-other while she/he lives or simply when one of them is cheating with an other.
From the other hand Fornication happens when two non married people are together (like Paul said to marry in order to avoid fornication) and general every unlawful sexual relationship In order to happen Adultery we need at-list one married mate. otherwise we have fornication.
Fornication is when two people are together without a lawful marriage and also if a Jew were married his fiancée and then found that she was not virgin. In this case that means that the girl were fornicated beifre they marry See for example what Joseph were thinking to do with his fiancee (Marry) was found [regnant (in his mind probably by an other man, while they were not married yet)
Now with those two things in mind look again:
Mat.19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
"We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God."
1 Cor.5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. (he lived with the wife of his father, that is an unlawful relationship and called fornication. Paul did not say to marry her to avoid fornication ! But he said to put her away! .This reason is the only reason that a man is obligated to "put away his wife"
1 Cor.6:13 Now the body is not for fornication,
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot?16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh
He did not said that they are married

Now to the young men-women that they still have or thinking their "relationship "
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

How they abstain if they are in a relationship they had from the world??
1) They are to marry
2) They are to put away their girlfriend
(and in general evey sexual relationship with a harlot)

And you would really equate what was mentioned in I Cor 5:11 with a believer remarrying after being forsaken by an unbelieving spouse? Insanity.

And again, you are ignoring the fact that adultery is included in the definition of "porneia". You have to ignore that.

Your post, #12 in the thread. did not even give your definition source. And it is very easy to cherry-pick a definition for the type of insulting argumentation that is your method. (And why I pass by your posts.)

Today we have:

Quote:
7 Times Around the Jericho Wall
IT’S “ALL ABOUT” PORNEIA!
http://www.standerinfamilycourt.com/...about-porneia/

the expansion of the definition of the Greek “porneia” by contemporary scholars, lexiconographers and bible translators, to include all forms of sexual immorality, and specifically adultery, (despite the Greek “moicheia” being separately mentioned by both Paul and Jesus in several scriptures alongside “porneia”).

"an expansive literary and mixed-biblical usage of “porneia” that suggests it extends beyond the wedding night to adultery, incest, sodomy, and the like"
It is an interesting study as to the difference between fornication and adultery .... when the study is done with sincerity.

Hi how are you?
You can wrote (when and if you want) your view. I mean about the teaching of marriage in general or about the following question:
"we know that a divorced Christian should not marry again" , now what happen to one that has been two or even three tomes in the past and then comes to Christ? I mean does God accepts them like they are? Or they must give up their marriage?
(i dont mean about a Christian who married an other woman and then repents, here for sure he must give up his sin and leave the adulterous relationship. )
But what happens to the couple that comes from the world? Does Jesus accepts their marriage? Does this fits to the "Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called" ?
Thanks in advance.

That is rich coming from you (who I agree with 99% of the time). You are very passionate and frank in dealing with those on here you feel are promoting error, as am I.

Ok professor. You can research the word just as easily as anyone. But will you accept the verdict of any Greek concordance that does not support your view? Probably not.

Check out the Greek word for fornication.

G4202
πορνεία
porneia
por-ni'-ah
From G4203; harlotry (including adultery and incest); figuratively idolatry: - fornication.

This word comes from:

G4203
πορνεύω
porneuō
porn-yoo'-o
From G4204; to act the harlot, that is, (literally) indulge unlawful lust (of either sex), or (figuratively) practise idolatry: - commit (fornication).

We know this word in the English as porn, or any variation of it. It means to partake of unlawful lust, or the acting of the harlot.

Fornication can be as simple as looking at porn according to the Bible.

Adultery is mixing in the marriage covenant to this perversion.
Notice the lack of interest in your post. Yet, the definition you posted is clear.

Quote:
harlotry (including adultery and incest);
Adultery is under the umbrella of fornication, and is the context of Matthew 19:9.

Re: Adultery vs Fornication

It is clear that Paul's instructions in I Corinthians 7 are for believers, how they were to conduct themselves post-conversion. Had remarried new converts been required to break up their homes and marriages, the Apostles would have made that crystal clear. They did not.

Esaias thinks I am somehow too emotionally involved to adequately discuss this matter. However, it has been my observation over the years that many who promote the radical views like those espoused by the author of this thread are divorced people who cannot get over the one they lost and thus impose a harsh sentence on themselves in order to still feel married to the one who left them. It is a type of denial that the marriage is over.

I've also seen others in leadership who push this bondage, trying to keep divorced people in leg irons. But when their daughter is abandoned by their spouse, the leader's doctrine suddenly changes.
