A lot of anti-Romney people stayed home and Romney lost. Trump received, after 93% reporting, 667,646 less votes than Romney.
Hillary won the popular vote.
The voter turnout was 55.4% - the lowest turnout in 20 years. That is much more than "always" low. It is VERY low.
So, yes, it does look like the anti-Trump people stayed home. At least 667,646 of them didn't want to vote for Trump. It is very telling that Trump didn't win the popular vote.
