both might be true though. She might have been taken advantage of, and is now seeking to take advantage.

If she was 13 and went to a modeling agency, one of the first things she would be asked would be how old she was.
If she was a minor, they would not talk to her further, without a parent/guardian's permission.

Yes, naïve. Perhaps you should read the definition, because that's not meant as a personal insult. Were I wanting to insult you, I would have said something else, using other words which are actually insulting.

Have you known anyone in modeling or worked with an agency? A 13 year old without parents means nothing. Guarantee you back then especially there were agencies which would take her in without parental permission. Also, they turned her away.

And yes I have known several models and people that worked in modeling agencies.
Most of those models were underage and yes they did have to have parent/guardian permission.
How about we just leave it at you believe her story and I have serious doubts.
