well, as far as the daily intelligence briefings, Obama has been skipping these for some time now. He has to campaign and raise funds and those things take priority. According to the Speaker of the House, President Obama has been absent from the presidency for quite a while now.

For the record, I do not trust our people in power as far as I can throw them (regardless of party). I've said here before that I wish people would, in judging the actions of their guys, pretend it was done by the other guys. I think we would have a populace that is much more consistent and critical.
That being said, if this is part of an elaborate plot at the highest levels of power (read above the President), you can expect this to get ugly. There will be some unfortunate "accidents" and possibly another "A" word which I will not type. I don't need that kind of heat...
