(having notread all your responses, this one caught my eye)...
Why? Why does $$ clearly choose for us? Why? For once we need to just go with the one that is best....God is greater than $ and greater than all the Big Dogs of Washington...if we allow Him to be. It a leap of Faith.
Remember David and Galiath?
The GOP machine wants Romney....samo samo... he's safe...he just may get the nomination.
Newt and Paul...hangs head ...just shoot me!
Santorum...not a Big Dog, not a whole lot of money...but he represents Christians like me, he speaks better than Paul....there are no sensational skeletons in his closet, none are perfect men, all have blundered with words and sentences taken out of context.
Even if, ...even if Santorum doesn't get the nomination, at least ( I ) will have taken a leap of faith with God to show His favor, and might, and power through Santorum, whom I pray will remain humble through out the process.
Santorum is not the easy way, Romney would be. But either way, its not going to be easy. It wont be an easy 4 years with a Republican in office either.
Just my nickles worth of though...

Re: Santorum 2012
I know I've been a supporter of Gingrich. I do like his policies. However, Santorum has really surprised me! I thought he wouldn't stand a chance or last very long. I'm very impressed with this guy and what he believes. He doesn't come with the baggage that Gingrich has. If he's still a viable candidate when we have our primaries on Super Tuesday, I'm considering a vote for Rick Santorum.
Go Rick!

I'm still thinking it will be a two man race between Gingrich and Romney. But, it's a crazy election cycle. As we see, anything can happen. I think the more people get to know Romney, the less they like him.
I'm thinking that Romney's "not concerned about he poor" statement hurt him. That is akin to saying that poverty is destiny. Conservatives have a problem with Romney because his conservatism comes across as clinical.
And Santorum has really been nailing Romney on the healthcare issue, which is Obamacare on the state level. Romney can try to hit Newt on the mandate, (back when they were looking for a solution to Hillarycare) but many Republicans supported the idea until they found out it was unconstitutional. Newt admitted he was wrong on that. It is Romney who forced the mandate on his constituents.
Although I view Gingrich as being more conservative than Romney on policy issues, if Santorum continues to move forward, I don't think Gingrich could stand a chance with the values voters.

I am thinking you and about 20,000,000 primary voters have just been awakened to this thought process...
This just might change everything, though I doubt it changes who is the republican nominee.

I am noticing, not that I put total confidence in polls, that Gingrich is now being polled as 3 points behind winning against Obama and Romney being, now, 4 points behind Obama. We will see if that is a trend. Romney has had the lead for some time. Found that to be interesting today.

Guests please note:
There are actually Christians who know that any engagement with the political system is voting for satan, the acting head of the world, as verified by Christ.
