Personally, my small percentage representation on this forum, I believe passionately that some teachings of Pentecostals are not biblical, and some of them even dangerous. At the same time, I'm still technically "Pentecostal" since I understandthe baptism of the Spirit, speaking in tongues, charismatic gifts, etc to be experiences available for everyone today.

Exactly. This fails to comprehend that only Oneness teaching accurately teaches that Jesus is YHWH. That is the general tone of the forum. Away from the precious truth that Oneness Churches by revelation of the Holy Spirit and the word of truth have been contending for against great odds for many years.

I do think the blog is an attack on the AFF, plain and simple, and they tried to obfuscate that fact by bringing "protecting the children" into it.

Hopefully you are mature enough to recuse yourself from things that have a negative impact on your life without needing someone to tell you to. I've taken breaks from forums (and the internet) before because I knew that I needed a break, for various reasons. It doesn't mean that everyone needs to. That's an individual thing.

Jesus didn't ask us to put together our best systematic theology about explaining how the Messiah and Father relate? He asked us to go back disciples, proclaiming that God made himself in human form to take on our judgment. That's the entire mission of the Church.

If you think the mission of the church is to haggle and divide or godhead debates, then you're not reading the same Gospels and Acts narratives that I read.

I think Oneness teaching comes close, but still hasn't answered all of the mystery (nor do I think that's a possibility) --- and some sects of Oneness belief go out of their way to deny any triune relationship to God as seen in the Gospels.

The Apostles were about proclaiming the Gospel, not chewing on each other over how the hypostatic union functions in theological terms. Paul, in one event, took issue with a group of Gnostics, but these were doubting the deity of Jesus, and other groups doubting his divinity. The Church is absolutely unified on those points though.

It's one thing to present what you are saying as your opinion. It is another to present your opinion as fact.
You were presenting your opinion as fact.
I am also always somewhat bewildered by people who accuse an entity of causing them pain or anguish mentally or physically.
I have found that it is usually people who cause other people to have issues, not some faceless entity or organization.
However, it makes us seem more of a victim to claim that an organization caused us problems, as opposed to a person or persons.

That's exactly what it was.

The write-up, from a journalistic perspective, was very poorly done. They could have at least done AFF the honor of being blasted in high-fashion and form!

Exactly, just as too much TV, or too much sports or too much of anything.

The only difference here is it is challenging, which is a good thing.
