Take a break ... check out your PPH materials ... and report back on whether or not .. the epistles are ever referenced to support the gospel message ...

Mizpeh .... why is it you don't examine Acteon's statments ??? He claims the Acts 2:38 is the only NT scripture that clearly defines remission ... do you agree or disagree w/ this statement?

I'll reference the Bible. The epistles are written to believers.

So when you are teaching a bible study, especially the gospel, to an unsaved person ... do you ever reference an epistle ... or is it strictly the gospels and Acts????

I didn't read Acteons' post!

I think Acts 22:16 lends support to Acts 2:38. But Acts 2:38 directly links remission of sin with water baptism.

by now you should know that even Apostolic oneness theologians differ on interpretations of these scriptures ....

The gospels and Acts. I can't think of a reason or time I would go to the epistles.
