In my 'BC days' I saw Iron Maiden almost booed off the stage for singing this song. This happened in 1982 at Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio. Anyone familiar with Hara will tell you that back in the 70s and 80s they had WILD concerts. Back then I was a 'good sinner,' and loved anything and everything Heavy Metal. Hara was therefore one of my favorite hangouts. The night they appeared I remember being more impressed with my drug and alcohol induced peers for taking that stand against this song. Iron Maiden were booed during most of the song and were visible shaken at its end.
