I'm pretty sure they sell Lipton there as they have tea - they just don't offer sweet tea in the restaurants.

Re: Dinner - April 25th

Bro Scott, Renda is correct... we just don't usually have sweet tea in the restaurants and when we do, they usually aren't that sweet.

I used to be well known for my sweet tea... I would have people come in my house to visit and one of the first things they would ask for was my tea. Some thought it was too sweet... my way of doing it was 2 cups of sugar mixed with tea when it hot... then add cold water to make a gallon. I usually used Luisianne tea? something like that.

After my divorce and I started dieting, I quit making tea unless it is special dinners.... but when McDonalds started making it... I was like wow... tastes like mine used to. Takes a lot of self control to stay away from it.

I cannot drink sugar... not for long anyway, does something to me... I fall off the wagon every so often...

I went to weigh in today because we started a contest at work... and just since last Wed, I have gained 7lbs... all because I ate and drank what I wanted the last 4 days... I knew what I was doing though... my face gets puffy and it is just horrible. It was worth it... I enjoyed all the sweet tea, really I did.

Maybe I'm allergic to it???

LOL I'm just a major sweet tea fan and if I was skinny, I would never drink a soft drink... it would be sweet tea all the time.

I use a cup and a half per gallon, and everyone thinks it's really sweet!!! I used to just use a cup. I can't imagine how sweet yours is! If I had known you were a big fan, I would have told you there was a gallon in the fridge!!

Re: Dinner - April 25th

Don't go to Minnesota and ask for tea in the winter. I asked for tea and meant ICED TEA. I was brought hot tea, which I detest. If I had wanted HOT TEA, I would have asked for hot tea. Good grief...lol. I am from the south, but I love unsweetened tea!...Unsweetened iced tea!

Luzianne is much, much better than Lipton in my opinion.

I haven't tried this, but if you want bottled sweet tea, Luzianne makes it. There is a coupon here to save $1.00 on a 4 pack:

oh, I would have drank it. 1.5 per gallon would have been just fine. I think the 2 cups per gal is very sweet...and taste like McDonalds sweet tea, which sometimes if I get it I think... whoo that is sweet. Sometimes I make it for the girls, but I just have to stay away. Usually I just make Kool aid or lemonade because I don't like it and won't drink it.
