I used the same phrase, as if the worship wasn't good enough and had to brought up a couple of notches.

Of course the same preacher was not pleased with the fervency of the prayer at a mens prayer meeting and he threw chairs too ... so... To each their own I suppose.
I hope no one was hurt!

I hope you said something when the man calmed down.

Anytime your anger gets that out of control you throw chairs-there is a problem.

Jesus used a whip isnt a good excuse for that kind of behavior either.

If you have ever been under a pastor that operates like this guy does... you know that "saying something" isn't what you do.

Unless you want to be preached for the next 6 months... or until someone else says something... whichever comes first.

I sort of have, but he never threw anything ever.

I dont care though, it is still wrong wrong wrong!

What if a pregnant woman walked by, or a woman holding a baby or an elderly person and hit them.

No one is above that kind of correction to me-

One usually sees this type of behavior when there is a bad case of burn out. It is then time for them to move on.

He started being out of town fairly often (a sign he is trying out for churches) and then eventually announced that he had been voted in elsewhere.

So... all is well.

Good! I would just hate for someone to be seriously injured.
